Wonderful News

Dear Parents and Carers

It is with delight that I share with you some of the accomplishments of our recently graduated HSC students. To date we have heard of five students who have been offered unconditional entry to university to such courses as Education, Arts/Engineering, Business/Law, Civil Engineering as well as one student who earned a $2000 scholarship to the University of Newcastle. For these students the ATAR and the results of the HSC do not matter.  We are also aware of two students who have attained apprenticeships without their HSC results being necessary.

It is timely to remind those students particularly in Year 11 and 12 2020 that working steadily across the two years provides the basis upon which recommendations for courses and employment can be made.

This is cause for celebration and congratulations to our graduating class of 2019.

We will update you as information comes to hand.

Kind regards

Julie Terry

Dear Parents,

I am writing to you to ask for your support in helping St Brigid’s get some volunteers (being your children) to represent us at the following celebration:

Fr Tomy Kuruvelil Ouseph CFIC Administrator

and the Parish Community Cordially Invites You to Celebrate the Golden Jubilee

of the Blessing and Dedication of St Mary’s Church Toukley on Saturday 30th November 2019 Commencing with Mass at 11:00am followed by

A Luncheon in the Fr Fitzgerald Parish Hall

RSVP by 14th November 2019

PO Box 1 Toukley NSW 2263

Phone: 4396 4455

Email: toukleyparish@bbcatholic.org.au

I am writing directly to the parents and guardian’s as there has been only one response from our whole student body. I was hoping you could encourage your son or daughter to give up a few hours on November 30th to help out in the following ways:

  1. To sing in the joint choir with St Brendan’s and St Mary’s at Mass.
  2. To be meeters and greeters at the church and welcome them into mass.
  3. To serve on the altar if they have done this before.

Students would be required to be at the church by 10:40 am and would be able to leave at the end of mass unless your family are staying for lunch.

Students would need to be in their College uniform for this event.

If your child has had a change of heart and can help out could you please respond to this email or leave your name at the front office.

Thank you for your time,

Mr Michael Landrigan

Director of Catholic Life and Mission
