Last week, St Brigid’s proudly sent six teams over the course of two exciting days to the Central Coast Oztag Championships at the Central Coast Regional Sporting Complex.
Tuesday saw our Year 8 teams take the field, with our girls’ team making it to the semi-finals—an incredible achievement! Well done, girls!
Thursday was a huge day, with our Year 9 & 10 and Year 11 & 12 teams competing across both boys’ and girls’ divisions. A special congratulations to both our Year 9 & 10 teams for making it to the quarter-finals—what an effort!
Across both days, our students demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, mateship, and teamwork, all while sharing plenty of laughter and wholesome fun. It’s amazing how one ball can bring so many people together, regardless of where they are.
A huge thank you to our incredible staff—Mr Underwood, Miss Mayall, Mrs Turner, Mrs Carantinos, and Mr Devlin—for taking the teams out and making these opportunities possible. We know our students appreciate you all!
