NADIOC Week Celebrations

By July 31, 2025 No Comments

NAIDOC Week 2025 marks a powerful milestone: 50 years of honouring and elevating Indigenous voices, culture, and resilience. The 2025 theme, “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy,” celebrates not only the achievements of the past but the bright future ahead.

Last Tuesday, the St Brigid’s community came together in a spirit of unity and faith to celebrate with a whole school Mass. The celebration was a beautiful opportunity for students, staff, and families to reflect, give thanks, and strengthen our shared values.

Following the Mass, students participated in a variety of engaging and meaningful activities designed to deepen their understanding of the day’s significance. These activities encouraged creativity, collaboration, and reflection, allowing students to express their learning in hands-on and thoughtful ways.

The afternoon was filled with joy, reverence, and a strong sense of community. It was a wonderful reminder of the vibrant spirit that makes St Brigid’s such a special place to learn and grow.

A big thank you to Ms Bailey and the wellbeing team for organising these activities.
