Mid-Term
As we reach mid-term, we reflect on another two weeks gone by. This fortnight we held our Year 7 Families Welcome BBQ, Year 11 Information Evening, the 2023 Swimming Carnival in Swansea, the Year 7 Retreat Day- The Amazing Race, Sports competitions and more. Thank you to the staff, students and families that participated in and contributed to these events. I also congratulate our sports placegetters. Please read our news articles in this Spark News edition to learn more about these events.
On Sunday, we held our first Welcome Parish School Youth Mass at St Mary’s Parish in Toukley with parishioners and families from St Brigid’s, St Brendan’s, and St Mary’s. We look forward to this becoming an annual event on the College calendar and growing year by year.
Last night our College Senior Leaders attended the Diocesan Staff Mass, where we prayed for our school communities and the education of children in our care in 2023.
Visit the ‘upcoming events’ section to see what’s happening soon, and I encourage you to take the time to participate in the 2023 Wellbeing Barometer survey.
Lastly, best wishes to our Year 7 & 9 students as they commence NAPLAN next week; we will continue to support you in achieving your best!
God bless you and your families.
Mr Adam Murdoch
College Principal
