National Reconciliation Week
Dear St Brigid’s community,
This week was National Reconciliation Week. The theme for 2024, Now More Than Ever, reminds us that no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will—and must—continue.
As part of Reconciliation Week, our students got to engage in various games, Aboriginal paintings, and drawings using Aboriginal symbols.
Our latest edition of Spark includes various sporting achievements, St Brigid’s Angels’ Trivia night, combined family mass, class updates, and an article from our AP-Evangelisation and Catechesis titled ‘Respect for ourselves and others’.
Please read on to enjoy these stories and more.
God bless you and your family,
Mr Adam Murdoch
College Principal
