Stage 6 Legal Studies Excursion
28 May 2026
In Week 4, our Legal Studies students participated in an immersive visit to the Supreme Court and NSW Parliament. Students explored traditional criminal courtrooms used for the most serious offences. They observed live bail hearings and witnessed a civil matter in progress, gaining valuable insight into how legal principles are applied in real-world settings.
The experience continued at NSW Parliament, where students toured the chambers and gained insight into how laws are debated and created. A highlight of the day was being shown around by Yasmin Catley MP. Yasmin shared insights into her role, spoke about the realities of public service, and engaged with students by answering their thoughtful questions.
