Netball Success

Back

Our Intermediate Girls, Open Girls and Open Boys teams proudly represented St Brigid’s at the Catholic Schools Broken Bay Netball Championships held at Pennant Hills, showcasing outstanding skill, teamwork and determination throughout the day.

The Intermediate Girls played some fantastic netball, finishing second in their pool and narrowly missing a place in the grand final after a hard-fought semi-final. The Open Boys enjoyed a strong campaign, progressing all the way to the grand final and earning a well-deserved silver medal.

The Open Girls continued their impressive record of success, reaching the grand final for the second consecutive year. In a thrilling match, they finished as runners-up after a heartbreaking one-goal defeat.

Across all teams, our students demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, commitment and pride in representing St Brigid’s. Their efforts both on and off the court were a credit to the College.

A special thank you to Miss Carrigan, Mrs Cannon and Miss Ardern for their dedication, coaching and support throughout the day. Their guidance played an important role in the success of our teams.
