Year 10 Child Studies Students Partner with St Brendan’s Kindergarten Classes

7 November 2025
Back

Our Year 10 Child Studies students have been warmly welcomed by St Brendan’s Catholic College to engage with their three kindergarten classes throughout Term 4.

This initiative, occurring once a fortnight, offers students the opportunity to observe, support, and eventually lead activities that foster early learning.

During the first two visits, students assisted classroom teachers with sport, literacy, and numeracy tasks, gaining insight into the daily routines and developmental needs of young children.

In the final three weeks, students will take a more active role by implementing learning tasks they have designed during the term. This hands-on experience will deepen their understanding of child growth and development, while also strengthening their practical skills in working with young learners.
