College Community
Year 9 students as part of their Science unit on Sustainability and Waste Management, recently attended the Central Coast Waste Management Showcase at Erina, where they presented innovative projects aimed at reducing waste and promoting sustainable practices within the community.
This regional STEM-focused event brought together local environmental experts, council representatives, and schools from across the region, providing an authentic platform for students to demonstrate their understanding of real-world waste management challenges. Through sharing creative and practical solutions, students strengthened their communication and teamwork skills while engaging with community initiatives dedicated to environmental sustainability.
The excursion was an exciting opportunity for our students to apply their classroom learning in a meaningful way and proudly represent our College.
