Our science classes have been busy exploring hands-on experiments that sparked curiosity and discovery!
Students conducted flame tests to observe how different chemicals produce vibrant colours when heated, revealing the unique properties of elements.
They compared the cleaning power of cola versus water on pennies, uncovering surprising results about acidity and reactions. Crystals were grown using room temperature, cold, and hot water to investigate how temperature affects crystal formation.
To top it off, students designed homemade calorimeters to measure energy in food, applying real-world science in a creative way.
Students also made models of the earths structure that they were excited about.
These activities brought concepts to life and showcased the excitement of learning through experimentation!
