Welcome to 2023
It’s been a pleasure welcoming our Year 7 students as they settle into High School. So far, they have taken advantage of opportunities extended to them, and over these first two weeks, they have shown to be a respectful, diligent and engaged year group. We wish our Year 7’s well next week as they experience their first Outdoor Learning Experience at Booti Booti National Park. We also warmly welcome all commencing and returning students to St Brigid’s.
The year commenced with our Family Mentor Conversations, and I would like to thank those families who could attend these sessions and discuss plans for their children. We also held our College Feast Day Mass, where all commencing students and staff received a formal welcome and were presented with their own St Brigid’s pin. Please take some time to read through our latest news articles, upcoming events and the new St Brigid’s Careers section available in this edition of Spark.
Finally, I am pleased to invite our community to our first Welcome Parish School Youth Mass at St Mary’s Parish in Toukley on Sunday 5th March at 5 pm. Save the date in your calendar and we will provide more information about this event in the coming weeks. This is the first of many events being organised to celebrate St Brigid’s turning 10 years in 2024.
God bless you and your families.
Mr Adam Murdoch
College Principal
