St Brigid’s Catholic College provides a caring educational community where each student is known and nurtured as an individual. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming school community that values the close relationships between staff, parents and students.
Our Catholic faith tradition, encountered through Sacrament, Word and Prayer, are essential in the day to day life of the college, as are the sacred symbols visible throughout the school that signify our connection to our faith and the wider church.
We are fortunate to have strong links with our local parish, St Mary of Perpetual Succour, Toukley which has a second parish centre at St Brendan’s Lake Munmorah (across the road from the school).
The celebration of Mass and liturgies are central to the expression of ‘communion’ as a community of disciples. Prayer life in the college will be expressed whenever we gather together as a community.
Our God is revealed to us through the Sacred Scriptures and so reflection on the scriptures will be afforded at appropriate times.
