We’re thrilled to celebrate the incredible accomplishments our students have achieved outside of school across a range of sports and competitions. From swimming and rugby league to ice hockey and netball umpiring, their dedication and success are truly inspiring.
Jackson is in his second year of refereeing with the Central Coast Rugby League Association. Thanks to his commitment and love for the game, he was selected as centre referee for the Under 13’s Girls Grand Final at Polytec Central Coast Stadium. What an honour!
Matilda competed in the Coast and Valley Swimming competition in August—her first time in the 13 & Over category—and achieved:
- 1st in 100m Freestyle
- 2nd in 50m Freestyle
- 3rd in 50m Backstroke
- 3rd in 50m Butterfly
Fantastic results!
Ewan was selected for the NSW 13 & Under Ice Hockey Team, competing in the 2025 Phil Ginsberg National Championship in Perth. The team placed 3rd nationally—a huge achievement!
Oscar plays representative ice hockey for the Newcastle Northstars U13 team, who also won bronze recently. He’ll be heading to Coffs Harbour for a 3-on-3 tournament and later this month will represent the Swedish Training Academy in an international tournament in Newcastle. Go Oscar!
Keira trained and qualified as a netball umpire in 2024. This season, she umpired U9 and U11 games and played her own matches too! Her mentors have praised her initiative and commitment—well done, Keira!
Jett had a huge season:
- Played in the U14 Southlakes Roosters Grand Final
- Selected for the U13 Central Coast team for the State 7s in Mudgee
- Competing in the DBL TRUBL Summer 7s in Queensland
Incredible effort!
Jayden made the Central Coast U15 7s team, and Jett made the U13 side—both competed at the State Championships in Mudgee during the holidays.
Andreas, Kai, Isaac, Jake and Harper from the Budgewoi Bulldogs were grand finalists recently at Tuggerah sports complex for Junior Rugby league. They were defeated by the Umina Bunnies.
Alirah played her first season of NRL with the U13 Northern Lakes Warriors Female team. They were undefeated most of the year and became the club’s first all-girls team to reach the Grand Final at Gosford Stadium. Though they didn’t win, we’re so proud of her dedication and teamwork!

Congratulations to the Toukley Hawks U14 Girls League Tag Division One team, who defeated the Entrance Tigers 28–16 in the Grand Final and finished the season as Minor Premiers!
