What a night was had by Central Coast Students! Be sure to come to the next Connecting Catholic Coasties.
On Friday 26th August, St Brigid’s hosted its’ first ever Connecting Catholic Coasties (CCC) Youth Event. With the theme of the night being ‘Hunger Games- Catching Fire In Faith’, we had over 150+ guests from all Catholic high schools around the Central Coast. We were privileged to welcome and host St. Peter’s Catholic College , MacKillop Catholic College, Warnervale NSW and St Joseph’s Catholic College East Gosford

Once everyone was welcomed, the students were placed into ‘Hunger Games Districts’ to complete a number of competitive challenges. The students listened to speakers talk about Pentecost and the Holy Spirit through scripture and personal testimonies and the night ended with lots of singing and dancing. 🔥

This event was entirely ‘student-led’, with each and every St Brigid’s student who facilitated demonstrating tremendous leadership. In particular, the following students are to be commended for their significant contributions:
Our MC’s for the night: Bella H, Natasha H & Bailey M
Game Hosts: Ben M, Laura P & Samantha M
‘District Leaders’: Tom M, Indiana C, Oscar S, Braydn H, Kyra K, Deacon W, Brayden H & Holly R
Testimony Guest Speakers: Cooper S & Emyli M
Band Members: Trinity F, Tamika S, Emyli M, Ben M, Cooper S, Sister Josie and Mr David Walker

As a community, we are so proud to celebrate our many students stepping outside of their comfort zone and exceeding expectations in their role. In particular, it is a demonstration of what our Youth Ministry students are capable of both individually and as a team.

So much fun as had, and we look forward to our next CCC night in Term 4!
