St Brigid’s Alumni Brunch

By December 2, 2022 No Comments

St Brigid’s Catholic College and the Pathways & Partnerships team proudly held the first Alumni Event on Wednesday, 23rd of November 2022. We were joined by 5 guest speakers, which included 4 past students. Firstly, former Socceroos Captain Paul Wade spoke; he motivated us all with his life experiences, both personal and whilst playing for the Socceroos. His genuine passion for life, learning, and never giving up was inspiring and left us all with a drive to do our best and try anything. Then Lara McCulkin, Natasha Hawkshaw, Bella Hodge and Taylah Gorton formed a panel of Alumni Students, and Principal Adam Murdoch asked the group several questions. I was so impressed by how well the young ladies spoke about their own experiences at St Brigid’s and how much they enjoyed their time here. They were passionate about their place here at St Brigid’s and their amazing teachers that supported them in their journey. They gave our year 10 and Year 11/12 students tips on how best to survive those pivotal years of study whilst looking after their own wellbeing. Well done to the St Brigid’s team for growing such wonderful and inspiring students. We are looking forward to many more Alumni events to celebrate our College, students past and present, parents/family, teachers, and support staff.
