Broken Bay Athletics

By September 8, 2023 No Comments

On Monday, 31 students from the College attended Broken Bay Athletics Carnival held at Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre, Homebush.  With an early start all our students were in good spirits and ready to take on the track and field events.  The first events for the day were the 1500m, we watched 3 of our students come in 1st place.  This started the day off on a high note. The place getting didn’t stop there, we had a very successful day for a small team between the field and track events.

Our students could be heard from the grandstand cheering every runner on as they came past. It’s lovely to be a part of the atmosphere and watch our student and parents take it all in and support each other.

Congratulations to the following students on their results:

Jack M – 3rd 1500m, Isaiah R – 1st 1500m – 3rd 800m, Toby W – 1st 1500m, Rose D – 1st 1500 – 1st 400m, Emily H – 3rd Shotput – 2nd Javelin – 3rd Discus, Oliver K – 1st Long Jump – 2nd High Jump, Kye Mc – 1st 400m – 2nd high jump – 3rd 1500m, Jayden A – 3rd 200m.
