Compassion Cup

By August 11, 2023 No Comments

Next Wednesday, August 16th, our new whole-school College event “Compassion Cup” will take place on the bottom oval. This event is a great opportunity for students to showcase their sporting talent and for their peers to demonstrate strong House spirit by cheering on their respective teams.

In conjunction with the tournament, there will be a BBQ fundraiser organised to support our Year 12 students. The fundraiser will also include soft drinks and lollies which are all available to be purchased on the day.

Students are encouraged to wear appropriate MUFTI clothing on the day that represents the colour of their House. A gold coin donation for MUFTI will be set up on the front gate and this will also go back to our Year 12’s.

The timing of the event will be strict. All students must be on the bottom oval by 12:55pm ready for the first game to begin at 1pm. The event will finish at 2:30pm which means you will not have an assembly that afternoon. Period 4 will be cut 5 minutes short to allow you to get to the oval promptly.

The oz-tag tournament will take place on the bottom oval and all spectators will be seated on the edge of the field. I encourage students to bring a picnic blanket to sit on around the oval. All spectators are encouraged to cheer their team on to build up the atmosphere of the day.

Good luck to all four Houses on the day and may the best oz-tag team win!
